Constructing a Digital Competence Evaluation Framework for In-Service Teachers’ Online Teaching

The focus on online teaching and teachers’ digital competence (DC) has reached a new level following the emergence of COVID-19 its dramatic influence educational industry, requiring teachers to be equipped with DC. However, there is no consensus measuring framework Therefore, this study aimed construct reliable self-evaluation for in-service DC during teaching. data 1342 experience were obtained. methods analysis included exploratory factor (EFA), confirmatory (CFA), item analysis. Results demonstrated that constructed evaluation performed consistently collected data. CFA also confirmed good model fitting relevant 10 factors framework. in framework, constructs interacting each other consist technical knowledge (TK, four items), learner (LK, three pedagogical (PK, ethical (EK, (LTK, (LPK, (LEK, (TPK, (TEK, (PEK, but total scale comprises 35 items.
